Christmas shortbread with vanilla & intense dark chocolate and roasted hazelnuts



Little magic party sweets to put
on the tray with coffee or tea !!

Ingredients ( For 5 people )

130 g butter
50 g icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
250 g flour
1 egg
100 g intense dark chocolate
whole hazelnuts / dark chocolate chips


Steps

1• PREPARATION: 
Mix the butter and icing sugar until 
they form a creamy mixture 
Add the egg 
Mix 
Add the sifted flour 
Mix 
Add the vanilla 
Mix 
Leave the dough to rest in the refrigerator 30 min to 1H

2• Lower the dough 1/2 cm thick on your 
floured work surface 
Prepare the shortbreads with a cookie cutter of your choice 
Place them on a plate covered with a baking sheet 
Place the chocolate chips (to form eyes) 
COOKING: 17min to 160 ° C th 6/7 
Let them cool on a rack

3• Enjoy your hot oven for roasting 
your crushed hazelnuts 
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie 
Dip 1/3 of the shortbread in the chocolate 
Sprinkle with roasted hazelnuts on the melted chocolate 
Let harden 
Taste with a good coffee or a good tea !!
